| Description | When I came onto the field initially there was only one rabbit in sight. I paused and waited and the second, the mother came out to nibble. A moment later the kit came out to join her, and went straight over for a nuzzle. Sadly cropped because of distance, but a lovely scene. The kit then settled down to graze, but only for a minute before it shot off into the bushes. Shortly joined by the other two. I was not sure what spooked them, however two minutes later the barn owl came over the field hunting. Maybe what spooked them, but if so it was a touch prescient. |
