| Description | Ever since moving here I have been meaning to shoot the New Year fireworks display, but not quite like this. The plan has been to head up Harvil Road and shoot from there towards the centre of London with a long lens. However the first year I have been here, no fireworks at the Wheel. So this is out of the back window, the only frame of fireworks. Even the Denham Village Church which normally has fireworks regardless only had a few around 7pm, then a handful at midnight which barely tickled the sensor on a live composite. Anyway, I am going to take a break from posting daily pictures now, and get more of my archive online, there being a LOT of good pictures I want to post, that I have not. I will also be having a clear out of the Lockdown Diary, while it has been motivational, there are a lot of pictures in there which are there because I was posting daily, not because they are great photos. So there will be photos posted, but I am not going to carry on with the one per day regimen. That aside, Happy New Year, and I hope 2021 gets better for all of us. |
